| Just for Working Women: You would think that if I am out working all day, the kids are at school and my husband is working, no one is at home to get the house dirty. Think again, honey! But with a little extra organization and determination you can keep your home in tip top shape. In the evening -- preferably after dinner and way before you go to bed -- have everyone in the family pick up after themselves, while you take a quick look at the kitchen and bathrooms. In the kitchen, go over the counter tops and appliance with KC1000 all-purpose cleaner and a terry cleaning cloth. For the bathrooms, wipe down the sinks, toilets and counter tops. Throw a load of laundry into the washer. You know you always have to have that thing going. Then when you go to bed, put the clothes in the dryer. When you get up in the morning before going to work, fold those cloths from last night. Do a quick vacuuming that will help everyone wake up. If you just cannot keep on top of things and don't want someone in your home cleaning during the day, hire someone to come a few nights a week in the evening as soon as you get home from work. Pay them well so that it would be worth their while. There are a lot of people out there that have day jobs and want to make a little extra by working in the evenings. Work along with this person; maybe they could even stay for dinner. Make them apart of your family. Don't make housework more important than yourself. You need to do something for yourself too. Read a good book, take a walk, enjoy a hobby. |
