| Light-Duty Cleaners Products such as Windex and KC1000 light all-purpose cleaner are great for glass and mirrors. Scouring Powder: You can't clean with out cleansers. Ajax, Comet, Soft & Scrub, or Bon Ami are great for sinks and bathtubs. Soft & Scrub can be used on fiberglass bathroom units, Formica countercoups and stainless-steel kitchen appliances. Lemon Juice: Lemon juice is great for cleaning many items. Use a couple of lemon peels and grind them in your garbage disposal to clean and deodorize it. Lemon juice can also remove tarnish and mineral stains. Vinegar: Vinegar has many uses as well. It removes stains from many items. Put it in a spray bottle as an all-purpose cleaner. Use it to get out stains in your dishwasher. Use it to clean windows. A little salt and vinegar can remove tarnish from copper and rust stains from sinks. Ammonia: Ammonia is great for just about any surface. It is a great grease cutter, wax stripper, and soil remover. Also good for mopping floors, and cleaning bathroom floor tile with a Big Bad Tile Brush. You can use ammonia to wash windows, clean ovens, wash walls. Ammonia mixed with water can be an all-purpose cleaner. Also it so cheap. Warning: Never mix ammonia and bleach they will make a toxic fume that may kill you. Bleach: It is a good product for getting out mildew in the bathroom and cleaning toilets. Bleach can be used in many situations. Be careful. It is strong always ventilate the area you are working in by opening window and never mix bleach and ammonia. Baking Soda: Baking soda is great for deodorizing places like the refrigerator, garbage areas under sink and much much more. Baking Soda makes a good scouring powder that will not scratch surfaces. |
