| Don't Forget the Kiddies! Teach them young. Children need to learn how to work when they are very young. When they are old enough to help, it will take some of the burden from the household chores. It makes children feel needed and important. Give them responsibilities at home. Rewards and games are fun for kids. Remember, responsibility taught at an early age will help later in life. Helping sort out the dirty laundry is a good time to learn colors. While setting the table, a child learns to count. Folding the towels teaches hand coordination. Vacuuming and sweeping builds motor coordination. If you train children when they are young, as teeenagers they will be more willing to help!
